As I’m driving to my destination, my mind starts to wander. This scenery isn’t unfamiliar to me; I mean, I did just come here two weeks ago. That pool party really was incredible. It was nice to meet some new, kind faces, and to spend time with familiar ones, too. Gavin looked so happy with Ana and all his new friends, and Rain… she was just as gorgeous as alway-- no, Allison! Enough of that! She’s happy with Emily. She doesn’t need your meddling. Sigh… I’ve already been talking Ky and Chanel’s ears off over the phone with that stuff. Well, maybe not that much. We’re still only acquaintances. And while I know they’re happy to listen and help (and they have been incredibly helpful), I still feel so guilty… it just feels like I’m being a thorn in everyone’s side. But those thoughts aren’t helping anyone. I’m coming to Gavin’s again to have a good time! We haven’t hung out alone together in so long. He doesn’t need to hear my rambling. It was just another evening at the Bryer residence. Emily and Rain had come back after a full day of hanging out at the mall with Maria and Chanel (the latter insisting that it’s important for her to see her favorite couple after her own act cute in a double-date with them), and were exhausted from the little shipper’s energy, and all the walking around they did. It didn’t help that everyone was a little on edge: they still had a week to go before Emily’s due date, but the approaching birth of Lydia made it hard for everyone to sleep soundly, ready to sound the alarm at any point and run to the hospital. The exhaustion was clear on both of their faces, and Fara was no better. She never liked feeling so anxious. As such, all of them were ready for a calm, relaxing evening.
