And just like that, Maria and Emily are left alone and unsupervised.  Way to go, Pete; you had one job!

I know some of you might be taken aback by the tonal whiplash after the last page, but I'm hoping the "stupid and cliché" nature of this page provides a bit of a lighter balance here. Probably expect a fair bit of up and down going forward with this chapter.  All that said, to anyone about to lose it over the cliffhanger, I promise you'll see where that's going in THIS chapter.  You won't have to wait too long; but there is a lot to cover here, and I've got my unique chapter structure to maintain.

Is it me or does the convo in the final panel sound like the beginning of an argument between Lana Kane and Sterling Archer because Archer half-assed another vital mission?

Archer: "Lana, trust me. I have an amazing plan." -grabs steering wheel-
Lana: "No no no! ARCHER!"
Archer: "WOOOOOO!"

-car pins target against building-

Lana: "That was your amazing plan? That was stupid and cliche."
Archer: "Hey, it worked, didn't it? Didn't it, Lana? Didn't it?"
Lana: "I really feel like it shouldn't have."
Archer: "But it did. Cuz I'm awesome." -groans in pain from crash-
