It was only a little earlier in the chapter, but a lot has been going on lately, so in case you'd already forgotten, Ana did in fact suggest that Rudy should apologize for the hit and run with Colette... well, she said that Ruby should, actually.
Sooo, what happens now? Is Rudy going to just tell this stranger that they collided in a ladies' room? Have we seen Colette respond to LGBT matters yet to even know what kind of reaction to expect? Could Ana actually somehow be outed by this when neither Rudy nor Colette know anything about it.

So I'm rereading this years latter and the last comment by Ana cements my opinion that she's at least a little bit of a shitty person. The whole "I don't want to be associated with cross dressers or trans people" (also I know she didn't literally say this) is just really awful regardless or her reasons why.
I also wanted to add that I still really like this comment. I think Drew used to be my favorite character but I think I changed it to Maria. I love the her attitude towards people who are trash.
