So, the previous chapter ended with one of the hardest pages in the story to date.  And this latest chapter has been particularly and continually sad and angsty, with groundwork being laid out for future struggles.  Closing this chapter, I really wanted to leave off on a high note.  While Emily's feelings STILL aren't actually stated (there are lots of ways to interpret a hug like that), hopefully I've achieved said high note.  ^_^

But the really interesting thing about these pages might be even more obvious.  For the first time EVER (save for chapter cover pages), I present to you an update with no dialogue (in a comic that you all probably know well at this point for having copious word bubbles).  And it's a two-pager, no less!  Fun fact: I wrote dialogue for this scene.  It was more of the same though, with Emily basically just encouraging Rain yet again.  But it added nothing and felt redundant, so I decided to get a little experimental.  Again, hopefully I did okay.

I can't explain why, but somehow it's cuter to me without dialogue anyway.

No hiatus, by the way.  There'll almost definitely be one after the next chapter, but for now, I want to keep up the momentum.  So, I'll see you next time, Rain Beaus!  ^_^
