Mimikyu

Mimikyu is one of the new creatures that will be appearing in the upcoming Pokemon Sun and Moon.  I'm late to the party in that I drew this like two weeks ago after hundreds of other people already did fanart, and even later because I chose to hold onto it so I could post it during my recovery.  But here we are, I'm finally posting this and showing my overwhelming love for the slightly creepy, sad, and incredibly adorable new Pokemon.

For those of you who don't know, Mimikyu is a Fairy/Ghost type that just wants to be loved.  So it hides itself inside twenty year old Pikachu merchandise, because it wants to be popular like Pikachu.  Everything about this hooked me right away.  Its design.  Its story.  I haven't even been able to see it in action as it comes from a game that isn't out yet, but this has very quickly become one of my very favorites.

So I drew Mimikyu... being appreciated like it wants (with the new trainer girl [minus the stupid hat] offering it a Pokepuff).  It deserves it.
