Fanart - Material Girl

This is a fanart of a character from 's, simply fabulous comic, "Material Girl". Truth be told, it's been a LONG time since I got so attached to a comic in any form, but I really loved this. And when I first stumbled onto this one a little over a month ago, I read the whole thing in a sitting (and twice more since). I laughed. I cried. I was in awe of both its artistic and literary direction. Almost needless to say, fanart to show my utmost respect for it was inevitable.

This is actually an outfit she wears regularly in the comic. She has many others (and I love her sense of style) but this is the one I remember most (and had a color reference for) so it's the one I went with. On a side note, drawing heels is not my friend.

Beyond that, I'd rather not divulge too much information about the character because I think it'd be better if you just found out for yourself. My recommendation? If you've ever heard me talk about my own upcoming comic "Rain" [link] and thought "hey, that's something I could see myself getting into" then I really think you'd like this.
