Rain is back! Announced in picture form for those that don't read blurbs, comments, or journal entries. 
I know. You were probably expecting a bigger announcement. Last time, we got that forecast gag with Maria. I considered things like that, but I'd rather save my energy for pages. ^_^
I'm not back up to 100%, but I'm ready to get back to work. In case you missed the memo, I officially learned that I'm cancer-free on Friday. I may not be 100%, but the worst is over. This past weekend, I managed to go out and enjoy some time in a crowded mall on Saturday, and then went to a benefit show for my wife's chorus group on Sunday. If I can manage stuff like that, I think I can handle sitting in front of my computer and drawing. XD
And I'm looking forward to it. Life feels so incomplete when I have nothing to work on. I don't even have the drive for distractions. You know I started like five games during this hiatus and finished none of them? Usually, I'm kind of a completionist too.
Anyway, kinda like last time, I don't plan on recapping anything before jumping in again. Wednesday's update will bring us back to Rain and Emily and what they're up to in the next scene as if the hiatus had never happened. So if you need a refresher, I might recommend just reading through what's available of the current chapter (Chapter 24) again.
I want to wrap up here by saying, "thank you". Thank you so much for all your patience and support through the past half a year. This has been the hardest and scariest thing I've ever had to face, and to be able to put it behind me and move ahead so soon after it began is so incredibly fortunate. I've been fighting the whole time, and I'm honored to have had so many people out there (like you, reading this right now) fighting right alongside me. If you've offered even one line of support or encouragement, or drew a piece of fan art, or if you donated, or bought a book or a scarf or a wristband, or came back to this page regularly to see if I was back yet, or thought completely to yourself, "gosh, I hope she'll be okay"... then you were there for me. And for that, I thank you. I like to think I'm pretty strong, but I needed that. So thank you.
