RAIN p657+658 - A Little Too Weird

This may be hard to follow, so to sum up:
The child ends up being little Ryan (in regular, non-fantasy clothes).  Rain mostly goes back to normal upon seeing him.  Kellen attacks by throwing a dagger at a no longer armed Rain, who jumps to the defense of her child self.  And then her wings are severed in the process.  It's a LOT to take in.  

Don't even worry if you don't get it all.  It does all mean something (I'll leave it up to interpretation for now), but it's presented so quickly and is so weird.  I really wanted to capture that seemingly unstructured randomness that even the most "plot driven" dreams can devolve into.  At least, that's my personal experience.  I have pretty strange and vivid dreams though.

Also, I strongly considered blood on the last panel for dramatic effect.  Even now that it's posted, I'm still humming and hawing over it.  I mean, it would have purpose.  It wouldn't be just for the sake of having blood and violence.  However, it IS a bit intense for the usual mood of the story.  I think for what I'm going for thematically, it would make more sense, but I know I'm already shaking people up with these last few pages and decided to go the safe route.  Thoughts, anyone?

Anyway folks, the dream is almost at it's end.  The next page and those following are extremely heavy, and may be triggering for some.  Please by mindful of that, going forward.
