Two-hundred pages! Whoo!

Besides whatís actually going on, Iíd like to draw your attention to some slight uniform changes. With the story going into November now, the weather is cooling down and the students are expected to wear blazers. Additionally, while girls can still opt for the knee-length skirt theyíve all been wearing so far, they might also choose to wear a jumper. Although, the ďWinter uniformĒ is entirely inspired by my own personal experience, I admit the real reason I made ANY alteration at is simply because Iím getting tired of drawing the uniform as it was (I mean, I have kind of drawn it A LOT in 200 pages).

I make no exaggeration, when I say Iíve considered an arc later on in the story where the school changes the uniforms. Itís kind of stupid, so I probably wonít do that, but this is how much I didnít feel like drawing it anymore. And I figure by the time I get tired of the blazers, itíll be warm weather again in the comic. Maybe. If Iím lucky.

Congrats on 200 pages. Well maybe everyone's avoiding you because they are made at Rudy for trying first. Maria's mad because she lost her crush to her brother.

Those are quite the snazzy jackets they've got there. Or "blazer", I guess they're called... sorry, my fashion-related lexicon is rather shallow.

Sorry I haven't been able to keep up with my analyses this week! It has nothing to do with the quality of the strips; I'm still reading them and loving them! I'm just not able (Kid Icarus) to take time (Kid Icarus) away from my busy schedule (Kid Icarus) to write a full-fledged comment. Regardless, I'll just say that I really like the direction things are going now!

Oh, and many congratulations on reaching your two-hundredth page! This is a feat not to be taken lightly - you've clearly put a lot of your effort, experiences, humor, and creativity into this comic, and I'm always glad to be reading it! Keep on writing wonders.

So, is the new Kid Icarus really that good? Back in my day, we had Kid Icarus too. It was hard and frustrating as hell, but oddly, I remember it quite fondly.

It would be an overstatement to say that Kid Icarus alone is responsible for my not posting. Actually, the main obstacle is just that I'm really busy with classes. I've come to learn that April is a HORRIBLE month for college students everywhere. So, if you don't see me commenting, that's the main reason why. That, and just the fact that I'm a really lazy person in general, heh heh.

As for Kid Icarus, it's easily the best 3DS game I've played so far (trollolol, the only other one I've played is Ocarina 3D). Basically, you control Pit through a series of chapters. Each chapter is split into a flying phase and a ground phase, as well as a boss at the end. The gameplay is simple: you use the control pad to move (advance the game, avoid enemy fire), you use the touch pad to aim (where you shoot or attack), and you use the L-button to fire. There are also a whole bunch of weapons (nine classes, about a dozen in each class), and you can spend hearts (currency) or fuse weapons to get stronger ones. It's really fast-paced, and requires you to pay attention and act quickly (especially on higher difficulties). The dialogue is hilarious, the voice acting is really good, the environments are beautiful, and the plot is actually really involved. There's also a pretty cool multiplayer mode, where one team tries to defeat the other team. I would definitely recommend it!

"Back in your day", huh? Before all those young whippersnappers with their fancy graphics, and magical internet, and high-falootin' touch screens? In fact, a download of the original Kid Icarus for the 3DS virtual console was given out to everyone who preordered (I didn't, but maybe I'll mooch off one of my friends who did). Old games, even if they were frustrating, really are hard not to be remembered fondly. It's part of your childhood, so it means something to you. Kind of like how, through playing Pokemon GSC, I'm transported back to my childhood, if only a little bit... the games didn't just have a time capsule, they are a time capsule.
