Good job, Rain. Way to rationally think out everything you’re going to say, so nothing comes off too harsh and no bridges are burned. That’s very responsible, and I think this is gonna go really well for you.

Uh… wait…
What did Rudy just say?

Rain, all characters and all other aspects of the story are copyright material belonging to me.

Why is it that people keep telling me that rationalizing out your solutions to problems is 'manly'? Ugh...

And so, the best laid plans of mice and men gang eft agley...

Seriously, though, I love how this page captures an instance so common in real life: you've thought about it, you've prepared an argument, you know exactly what to say... and then whomever you're talking to just drops a bomb. It's especially fitting, giving the characters involved: the meticulous Rain and the haphazard Rudy. This exchange highlights their already-established character traits.

It does bring something out into the open, though; Rudy likes Rain. Now, what exactly he means by "like" is open yet to interpretation. Perhaps he does feel a romantic attraction to Rain, which would explain the kiss. Or, perhaps his "like" really refers to care, admiration, respect, trust, or one of countless other aromantic feelings one person can hold for another. With just the start of Rudy's confession, this page really ends on a cliffhanger.

Beyond that, one thing I noticed about Rain's intended talk to Rudy: it's surprisingly self-centered. Rain is concerned about how Rudy's action affected how the other students view her, and she expresses a desire that he not do it again (and rightfully so). However, she doesn't plan to ask Rudy why he chose to crossdress, nor why he kissed her at all. I feel like Rain underestimates Rudy - she only sees the compulsive, positive, foolish on the outside, without considering that things may be going on inside. What Rudy has to say, then, promises to change Rain's perception of him.

Unfortunately, I've been too busy (read: distracted) to comment on the last few pages. I really like where the story is going, though; it's exciting at every turn, offering both humor and character development. Of course, I haven't come to expect anything less =D.
