This page is really just mutt of conversations all going on at once among a group of people you probably wouldn’t expect to interact with each other. You know, like this taking place at some party or something. Oh, wait… XD
Also, this Todd-situation isn’t new, but it IS the first time we’ve actually seen him… outside of a flashback anyway. (first panel, here - [link])
Still, you should probably reread Chapter 5 if you don’t remember specifically why Maria wants to talk to this Todd person.
