This is also based (loosely) on actual events. About six years ago, before coming out to my friends, I went as a “girl” for Halloween (to test the waters and see how accepting they’d be). Apparently, I passed so well, that a friend of mine didn’t even recognize me and proceeded to flirt unknowingly. Though I was certainly flattered and pleased to know I passed so well, I felt obligated to kind of point out who I was to him. I probably COULD have played along for a little while, but was afraid that might turn sour later if I did.

To this day, that remains one of my more interesting trans experiences…

On a side note, probably about a year ago (it was before I actually began posting Rain), I held a mini-contest asking people for really BAD pickup lines. I meant to actually use it sooner (Drew was originally going to say one of them to Rain back on page 10 [link]) but I opted against it to draw attention to her voice at that time. Still not wanting to put everyone's effort to waste, I decided to have the very same character use one here and now. Panel 1 here now features one of the tamer ones, submitted by ~dolphin64575. Mind you, I got dozens of really good REALLY BAD lines from back then, so more may come out of Drew or other characters in the future too.
