RAIN p121 - Oblivious by JocelynSamara RAIN p121 - Oblivious by JocelynSamara
(I may early post at around this time for a while. At this time, it's just easier for me; at least it remains on the same scheduled day this time though.)

Neither Rain nor Kylie have very good “transceivers”, apparently. But then, it’s already been established that neither one of them has ever known anyone else like them, so I guess that’s to be expected.

Then we have Fara who is obviously fully aware of both parties’ true identities. I’m sure she’d like to spell it out for them; I mean, it might make things easier for both of them if they knew someone else in a similar position to confide in. Fara is, however, much too amused by the way they each overlook the other’s gaping holes because they’re too busy trying to cover up their own secret.

Really, it IS kind of freaking adorable. I just wanna pinch both their cheeks. XD

Final note: Holy crap, a background. I’m never going to hear the end of this…

Rain, all characters and all other aspects of the story are copyright material belonging to me.

After reading the story through, I am kind of surprised that Ky stays under-wraps as long as s/he (Depends on the day right?) does.

I feel for what Rain is going through. I am an 18 year old guy and this is actually the first time that I've opened up to anyone. There are many things that have made me not want to open up to anyone I know personally.
My dad and brother are pretty judgemental. Though I am pretty sure my mom would be okay with it.
My best, not to mention my only friend, is very judgemental and close-minded. He has been my best friend for 8 years (he is also my age) and, as Rain felt, do not want to lose him as a friend. I also go to a Catholic High School (for a 5th year) which probably doesn't help with the fact that I am transgender. The people, especially the teachers seem to be open minded to the fact that some people are just born this way, whether it be gay, lesbian, transgender, or bisexual. There is also a problem that has to do with my body. I am 6'3" 255 lbs and have a very masculine build/frame. This actually feels really good that I am opening up to somebody.

By the way I love this story. It shows the struggles that transgender have to go through. I wish everyone can see this so they know being transgender isn't a choice or the easiest thing to deal with, socially and personally.

I was in the same boat a few months ago! I read through all the pages up to the cover of chapter four (which was the last page Jocelyn had produced up to that point) in one day. I remember how hard it was waiting those first two days for the next page to come out! It's something I've gotten used to, though (it takes a while, admittedly).

YAY! I have been waiting for Rain and Ky to interact more. Fara is hilarious as always. Keep up the awesome work.

Oh, random question, which I hope isn't offensive: Does Ky bind when presenting as Ky versus Kylie? Because he (or she) seems to pass very well.

Also, yay for having a background. I think you do very well with them, despite what you seem to think.
