I know people don't understand Gavin and are so quick to write him off as a bigot...but he is a human who has a special bond with a guy who is basically dead. That is traumatic. Its life changing for him. And I agree that when trans people transition, they change everything to the point you know longer even know them. Sure, people get used to it...but you will never feel the same.
