Ooh… can it be? Development and conflict (and characters) finally coming in? Oh, delight!

Oddly, despite that, I don't feel like I have a lot to say about this one. I guess I'll just let the page do the talking for itself.

Enjoy!

Just found "OSCS Comic 4 - Arrivals, pt. 4" and noticed that Maria stole the joke from Ursula! Recurring gags are just awesome.

This is interesting. Though I should've said this before on paneled page 4 or even the Shangri-la demo. After reading the OCSC interviews I developed a grasp of the chracters. But when I saw there stories play out for the first time I have developed a new level of interest as this is legally the first time I saw them move and speak.

Maria for instance has that appeal that is very masculine as she holds herself with pride when talking to Gavin, further emphasised by her calling him "bitch" to show she took up a man's challenge. Gavin especially interesting as he is the newest character I've seen move. He has the feel of the average male student that will see anything as a reason to enjoy himself (boredom wise). But I can't seem to put my finger on it but I feel that there is so much more to him now. With him representing the straight demographic of the story, his relationship with Rain will definitely be something to test him on levels otherwise not tested without reason. He really must be a good person deep down and like everyone else he really doesn't want to cause unnecessary conflict. But either way, his bet for a date now got him involved and he can't escape now.

Looking forward to how these characters mature through the pages.

Hm. Very interesting outlook! :)

Again, because I don't want to risk dropping a spoiler, I'm going to keep my mouth shut at this time. But I can only hope you like the direction I take my characters. ^_^

It is your right to keep your mouth shut, after all you are the one documenting what happened to these people. Your interpretation will always be the most important.

And don't worry, so far you have proven these characters to be real and deserving of my respect.
