You know, this is probably the most ďactionĒ to appear in this comic to date. ^_^
For all of her teasing, thereís probably nobody who cares more about Rain than Aunt Fara. You really kinda canít blame her for getting upset anyway. Itís frustrating to hear someone speak ill of or make accusations toward someone you care about. Itís even more frustrating when their remarks are completely wrong and baseless. And then itís downright infuriating when you canít even tell them why theyíre wrong in the effort of keeping a secret. Metaphorically speaking, Mrs. Parker was walking blindly into a lionís den and stepping on every tail along the way; she didnít know it, but she kinda had it coming.
And donít worry, Mrs. Parker will be fine. Itís just a rolled-up, poster-size piece of paper (Faraís studentís homework). Aunt Fara wasnít trying to hurt her, after allÖ just shut her up.
As a side note, it was entirely unintentional, but the pairing of these two characters reminds me vaguely of Yukari and Nyamo from Azumanga Daioh (possibly due to the dramatic poster slap). Mrs. Parker wasnít originally meant to be that important of a character, but I think Iíd like to explore more of this dynamic in the future. ^_^
